Hypothesis: The pick-up lines have been used trough the history for men and women, even though their use in 50´s was more common in men to flatter a lady without offending her, on the other hand since 2000 till nowadays both genders have been using this linguistic resource with the intention of flattering in a satiric way with a more vulgar language. Another interesting point is the reaction of the receptor that depends of the time, language and socioeconomic status of the transmitter.
